Manners

When you are trained a certain way it’s hard for you to change

Some people may not understand and think that you are strange

The way you grew up, to you mean a lot, no matter what folks may say

Only observe you’ll see the difference, in the children of today

Parents should be particular of the things they do or say, for they

Know not what may happen, and with whom their children have to stay

No one wants to hurt them, but they must listen and do what’s right

For it’s one thing when you are present, and another when out of sight

                                                                                   
Discipline should  be exercised, today it really does take a lot

Children try to be defiant and use all the tricks that they’ve got

As a parent just remember, what you give, in return you will get

If you exercise good manners,  from them you can demand respect

It’s the parents responsibility, for their upbringing in this world

If you expect them to  be obedient and to do as they are told

,One day they will be successful,and face the world with pride,as

Dignified , respected people, with the Good Lord at their side
