Shy

There is always something special in our lives we’d like to do

To meet someone very important it does not matter who

One should not hide but just decide from deep within their heart

What they should know, where to go, and when to make a start

We maintain and cherish the thought and often wonder why

Just can’t believe someone so smart could be so naive and shy

We must realize just who we are and where we’d like to go

That some day whether near or far there’s something we should know

With confidence we must approach and hold  our heads up high

With no defense, but just act with sense we can do it if we try

There are lots of opportunities in this great world today

We can achieve what we desire, if approached in the proper way

You Are There

You are a pleasant, kind, and considerate person, you give encouragement when it is needed

If I should ask a favor you’ll never say I can’t, I’ll see, or I am busy, you’ll simply say O’K  anytime and  before you know it,  You Are There

Sometimes you may have to drive round, and round, but you never frown or contradict, with a pleasant smile you ‘ll try your best until all is accomplished,       When We Are There

So I take this opportunity to say, THANK  YOU’ Lloyd for being who you are

I will always remember that if ever I need your assistance, You Are There

My Desire

There are places I would like to go and things I’d like to do

My desires are so many, but I’ll mention just a few

First I would like to write a book about so many different things

To improve the importance of art along with what it brings

The computer is educating and we can learn a lot

If we could make the effort and  give it all we’ve got

What really is amazing about these kids today, to them

The computer is a toy, with it they like to play

Sometimes we get frustrated and feel that we should quit

But yielding to that stupid thought, it just won’t help  a bit

Like a student in a classroom, there are credits we must earn

To make the grade, be not afraid, just persevere and learn

Strange things are happening every day, we should be very smart

Shake up our selves , get busy it’s time to make a start

Without a fear, we will get there, and satisfied we’ll be

Looking back  today, we’ll be pleased to say, Thanks to modern technology

Before You Speak, Think

Before saying something it’s best to think twice

Whatever you say please let it be nice

You want to be jolly, and  out to have fun

But others may get furious and reach for a gun

People are different and don’t act the same

They do or say funny things when there’s nothing to gain

When faced with their doings they fuss and they worry

Then when it’s too late they’re sad and they’re sorry

It pays to be neutral and go with the flow

It’s a good habit to practice where ever you go

Always try to be pleasant and wear a bright smile

For where ever you are it is just  for a while

If  you’re uneasy around people and you feel you can’t stay

Maybe  it’s better  for  you by  just walking  away

Avoid  being angry by what you see  or hear, as others  may

Notice your countenance and the frown you may wear

When & Security

When do you think that time will change? That’s something we don’t know

There are many strange  things happening where ever we may go

The youths today need guidance, for they want to have their way

They’re influenced by others,then they seem to go astray

If they would think of what they say and not do the things that they do

But evaluate their company, then they’ll know exactly who is who

There is always deceit and confusion, just ignore and don’t take a chance

They will realize,the decision was wise, and there’s much room for advance

 Security

  

Being polite and kind  can change someone’s mind from feeling that they are rejected

To offer a hand when in great demand makes that someone know That they are protected

We must maintain this thought,and do as we ought, and  Always look out for each other, 

We  never know who, or what someone may do, it could be

Your dear mother, your sister or brother

Warning

Be very, very, careful when you are out on the street

There is danger lurking everywhere so be careful with whom you meet

A stranger may approach you in a familiar way , pretending to be

Humble , while they’re thinking how to make their play

Be very, very, careful, of what you may say, don’t’ brag

For one unexpected moment they’re sure to grab your bag

So you must be very careful to use your eyes and ears,  for out of nowhere

Someone will appear to cause you distress and tears

Once again be very careful, not sometimes, but every day

For you never know who’s watching ,   as you go on your way

Ask the Good Lord to protect you ,what ever you say or do

Remember he knows all your movements, and his eyes are always on you

The Artist

Some people have a childhood dream of what they’d like to be

Unaware of certain things, but amazed by what they see

Take for instance a great artist, one with that special skill

With strange imagination can create whatever he will

If you want to draw a picture and don’t know where to start

Just call on the professor he’s the one who’s got the art

If you want to paint a portrait a helping hand he’ll lend

With careful choice of colors he’ll teach you how to blend

The scenery of a garden with flowers of every hue

The portrait of a family these are the things that he would do

If a problem should  present itself he handles it with grace

He makes it look so simple with a smile upon his face

Suppose you feel like quitting, he’ll simply ask you why

He explains the problem in detail and encourages you to try

A pleasant one who’s blessed by God, a talent he received

This gift to him is precious for it’s an honor he achieved

His pictures tell a story of messages filled with bliss

His presentations well observed, there are things you cannot miss

He really tries with all his heart, he is intelligent and smart

With confidence he does his part, this is what is called the gift of art
